Site Manager (Fit-out) Permanent Location ndash; Glasgow (First job is away from home) Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + package + accommodation etc Ref: GR1367 Gibson Recruitment Limited Job Description A well-respected building contractor with an enviable order book and spread of projects across the country. The first job for the successful Site Manager to deliver will be a high-end fit-out contract in the Western Isles of Scotland (approximately 12 months). Accommodation and a subsistence package are included. Thereafter, the next project will be another bespoke refurbishment in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Site Manager to join a growing business who have a demonstrable record of developing and promoting from within. Responsibilities * Plan and organise labour on site, including Sub Contractors. * Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site. * Keeping site records and registers up to date. * Keep records and maintain electronic filing system. * Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit. * Quality Control. * Authorising timesheets for trades and labour. * Maintaining high levels of safety standards on site. Requirements * Demonstrable track record of delivering High-End fit-out projects for another residential housebuilder or commercial building contractor. * Ideally have a joinery trade background. * CSCS, SMSTS First Aid tickets. * Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
