Job Title: Milling Team Leader Location: Rotherham Salary: GBP18 per hour, overtime paid at x1.5 Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM ndash; 3:00 PM, Friday: 6:30 AM ndash; 2:00 PM Are you an experienced milling professional with leadership skills? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our clients team as a Milling Team Leader. As a key member of their manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing milling operations and leading a team to ensure production targets are met efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise a team of milling machine operators to achieve production goals. * Program, set up and operate milling machines with precision and efficiency. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on milling machines. * Train new team members on milling techniques and machine operation. * Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity. * Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile when needed. * Lead by example and motivate team members to achieve excellence. Requirements: * Proven experience in milling operations, with leadership or supervisory experience. * Proficiency in programming milling machines using Fanuc controls, ideally with experience in Hurco controls too. * Familiarity with Fanuc robot systems is highly desirable. * Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Flexibility to work the specified shifts and overtime as required. * Commitment to safety and quality standards. * Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
