Arden White is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Support Technician to provide invaluable support to our client #39;s Quality and Production Teams. If you have a background in precision engineering and enjoy working in a machining environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. What will I be doing? * Keep numerous CNC machines, controlled by FMS (Fastems management system), running smoothly on a 24/7 basis across 3 shifts. * Collaborate with the team in conducting new part programme prove-outs. * Monitor tool life and take charge of tool change and resetting using Zoller tool measuring equipment. * Assist load station operators. * Review CMM reports * Conduct TPM checks. * Monitor machines #39; performance. * Demonstrate fault-finding skills and recover FMS robotic applications. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: * A time-served apprenticeship, though not essential, with a strong machining background. * A comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances. * Proven experience in setting up and operating 4 and 5-axis machines with Fanuc controls. * Extensive knowledge of cutting tools and familiarity with CNC tool-holding methods. * Previous CNC milling experience would be advantageous.
