Installation Engineer Peterborough GBP30,000 - GBP45,000 Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Installation Engineer to join our team. The Installation Engineer will be responsible for liaising with customers on-site and carrying out installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a range of security equipment supplied by the company. Key Responsibilities: * Liaise with customers on-site and perform installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently. * Identify faults on equipment, including wiring, cameras, IDS sensors, door controllers, fire alarms, etc., and carry out necessary repairs. * Install new components to ensure systems are working to the best of their ability and in compliance with standards. * Advise customers on the best possible solutions for their security equipment needs. * Provide accurate service documentation and certification for site visits. * Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company Health Safety regulations. * Maintain awareness of company Quality Assurance requirements and ensure compliance. * Take a positive and proactive approach to promoting all aspects of the company. * Be flexible, as you will be required to be on call on a rota basis with the rest of the team. Qualifications and Skills: * Previous experience in installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment. * Strong technical knowledge of security systems and components. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of Health Safety regulations and compliance. * Flexibility to be on call on a rotational basis.
