HGV Technician- Croydon- Early and Lates Salary: GBP17.50 Per Hour This is what you #39;ll be doing: * You #39;ll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques. * You #39;ll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components. * You #39;ll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.). * You #39;ll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians. * You #39;ll carry out final checks on work that has been completed. This is what we #39;re looking for: * A completed secondary vocational education. * A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products. * An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles. * Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry. You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential). Hours are: Monday - Saturday 06:00-14:30 then Monday - Friday 14:30-22:00 alternate weeks.
