Due to recent huge on site investment and plant expansion a leading manufacturer in Milnthorpe is seeking an Electrical instrumentation Technician to complete their very successful engineering function on days. Key duties Responsibilities: * Repair and calibration of various types of instrumentation, including; temperature, level, pressure, flow and load instrumentation. * Liaise with EC I Engineer regarding the condition of equipment to allow for financial planning in replacement and refurbishment activities. * Participate in the commissioning of new or modified equipment. * Maintain the outstanding work list and work to priorities, in conjunction with other departments and within the Engineering Team. * Support in a breakdown situation. * Prepare and amend as appropriate, electrical drawings. * Liaise with outside contractors as required. * Ensure the Health Safety of employees and contractors around your work and ensure that Safe Systems of Work are followed. * Ensure all accidents and dangerous incidents are reported and appropriate action taken. In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills experience: * L3/ Apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. * Ability to fault find on complex systems using drawings manuals. * Experience/ Understanding of DCS and SCADA control systems Understanding of PLC logic. * Ideally you will come from a continuous process/ production environment If you want a secure opportunity within an industry leader who really do look after their staff and offer tonnes of development opportunities then don rsquo;t delay and apply today.
