This role could be carried out by an Associate Mechanical Engineer or by a Senior Mechanical Engineer ready to progress as plenty of support, including training and development resources are available. Responsibilities * Carrying out the designs for a diverse range of building services * To include design from concept to handover, including preparation of drawings, specifications, and all relevant tender documentation. * Producing drawings (Layouts, Schematics, Sections), * To produce estimates as required and formulate budgets for projects as required. * Working as part of a team to ensure that coordination is achieved. * Reviewing and commenting on information provided by the client and other members of the professional team. * Reviewing and commenting on information provided by contactors/sub-contractors. * Attending and contributing to design team meetings, client meetings, pre-contract and post-contract meetings. * Guiding junior team members. Experience Required To be successful in this role you will be an experienced mechanical design engineer within building services. * Ideally a graduate with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in mechanical building services design. * High degree of knowledge of technical issues and ability in mechanical engineering within building services. * Experience within a range of building project types
