Mechanical maintenance engineer

You will be working in a heavy engineering environment working on heavy plant machinery and other ancillary equipment. What is on offer for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer? * GBP41,735 salary * Monday-Friday role - 3 shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights) * Up to 30 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays * Training and development opportunities * Based in Inverclyde * Pension matched up to 10% Person Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: * Time served engineer, ideally from a heavy engineering environment * Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND/NVQL3 * Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments Job Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: Working as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will ideally have experience of maintaining industrial heavy plant machinery and ancillary equipment from a mechanical perspective. * Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager to carry out reactive repairs to site machinery * Responding to breakdowns and working to PPM rsquo;s. * Troubleshooting practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery. * Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules. * Following site H S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
