Deputy Nursing Home Manager Norwich Up to GBP43,000 I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a fabulous Nursing Home in Norwich. The home is set in a sought-after residential area of Norwich, and is a boutique, luxury care home offering nursing and residential care in an environment that combines the feel of a cosy family home with the highest hotel standards. Residents enjoy superb food and activities. In this role you will: * Assist in managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals while assuring the provision of high-quality care. * Be in charge of overseeing the care staff and will be expected to assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present * Through direct instruction and by setting a good example, assist in training and supervising care staff in all facets of their work. * Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident #39;s care plan and daily records are kept up to date * Foster effective communication with the residents #39; families and other organisations For this great role you must have: * Previous Deputy Home Manager experience * The ability to engage with residents to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care * A good working knowledge of CQC standards * The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing team * The ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home In return you will receive: * A superb induction program * An excellent remuneration and benefits package * 25 days holiday (plus public holidays) * Medical Insurance * Pension Package * Payment for PIN revalidation For more information on this role, please call Elite Care on (phone number removed).
