Technical examiner

Are you experienced/qualified in the Land-Based Engineering industry? Would you like to be involved with supporting the delivery of Technicals examinations? We are looking for multiple competent industry experts in land-based engineering to join our existing examiner team to support with the creation and delivery of our 0171 Technical Diplomas for the Summer 2024 assessment series and beyond. Key roles and responsibilities for a Technical Examiner #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B;; * Produce and submit assessment materials and participate in all stages of the production process until sign off. And/or * Prepare for, attend and participate in Assessment Material Evaluation Committee (AMEC) meetings Minimum requirements for the Technical Examiner #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; role; * Have Industry specific qualifications relating to the sector area And/or * Have current or recent experience of teaching or assessing in the relevant subject and level And/or * Have up to date, relevant subject knowledge and/or occupational industry experience And * Proficient IT skills with experience of using key business software e.g. outlook, Word and Excel * Have access to a secure PC with a firewall, up to date anti-virus software, private broadband access and a personal, private e-mail account * Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders both verbally and in writing * Have attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the City Guilds Group to drive this value.
