Maintenance Manager Location Deeside Salary Negotiable + pension + benefits A genuinely superb quite unique opportunity for a maintenance manager to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a department. The Job: * Help set up the plant / factory * Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment * Help build the team and culture * Manage shift and days based engineers / technician * Manage safety quality systems, CMMS * Work closely with Production Manager and Head of Manufacturing * Track engineering activities, develop PPM schedules * Lead weekly and monthly engineering meetings The Person: * Able to manage a maintenance team of 5 ndash; 20 maintenance engineers / technicians * Initially the role will be quite project based so the ability to be more hands on at times * The role will then transition into more of a lsquo;business as usual rsquo; position where continuous improvement and production efficiencies may be more of a focus, as will staff training, mentoring and development. * The projects and expansion are likely to evolve and continue for a few years so ability to manage and prioritise different tasks are useful. * Good understanding of LEAN * Engaging leadership and good communication and collaboration skills important.
