They are recruiting for an Automation Engineer to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 along with career progression. The Maintenance Engineer needs to possess a strong hands-on background in mechanical and electrical skills directly related to operating in a 24/5 manufacturing environment. Requires considerable working knowledge of PLC rsquo;s, Robotics, Drives, HMI rsquo;s and associated electronic equipment. Must be willing and able to undertake additional training and development as needed to work to and uphold standards. Key Responsibilities include: * PLC fault finding and diagnostics * Robotic fault finding and diagnostics * Machine building * A good understanding of Servo Drives * Liaising with OEM rsquo;s * Generate electrical schematics * Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic control panels/systems * Implement design improvements Qualifications Experience required: * City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering * Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship * Experience working with automation in a fast paced production environment How To Apply * Contact: James O rsquo;Sullivan * Job reference number: 1698 * If you would like to find out more, simply click apply.
