Air Conditioning Engineer Oxford Circus We are currently working hand in hand with one of the country rsquo;s largest FM on one of their most prestigious contracts as they look for an Engineer to complete all PPM and reactive works within a Technical environment. The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to work on own initiative, own supervision with knowledge of all electrical and HVAC systems. Manage the assets for the client in their critical environment with the Telecommunications sector. The emphasis will be on providing a level of service that meets engineering excellence. * Central London * F-Gas minimum required * Mon ndash; Fri, 8-4 * World Famous Commercial Building in Oxford Circus * GBP45,000 * Call out 1 in 5 weeks ndash; (Standby fee GBP125 extra 1,500 on your salary) * LV/HV courses provided after probation * Duties include: CRAC units, AHU/FCU rsquo;s, VRV rsquo;s, VRF rsquo;s etc. * 25 days A/L + your birthday off These are UK standard requirements therefore host country equivalent qualifications/experience applies. Minimum educational qualifications Air Conditioning: City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent AND NVQ 2/3 or City Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems Desirable: Recognised apprenticeship in air conditioning in addition to relevant qualifications and excellent understanding of Electrical fundamentals and LV distribution. Understanding/Experience of the following plant equipment in order to provide effective first line response: * Static UPS * DC System rsquo;s * Emergency Generators changeover * Chillers/Chilled Water distribution networks * LV Switchgear/distribution Experience of working under strict Health Safety procedures including Electrical Safe systems of Works (SSOW) Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
