Yard operative

Contract Type: AgencyTemp Salary: Earning approx. GBP28,250/yr Job Elements * Rotating shift pattern 06.00 - 14.00/12.00- 20.00 Monday - Friday with overtime available on a Saturday and Sunday. * Ensure finished material are safely loaded onto vehicles for onward shipment to customers. * Unloading, Sort and prepare materials for onward processing. * Maintain the yard and carrying out all activities required in this area. * Maintain high levels of hygiene / house-keeping standards. * Use of mobile plant including FLT rsquo;s, Telehandler, Excavator, Overhead crane (OHC) etc. * Ensuring SOPs are adhered to for plant machinery. The ideal candidate will have: * Heavy plant machinery experience (FLT, Telehandler, Excavator, Overhead crane) * Material handling * Ability to work alone and within a team. * Warehouse / Yard experience * Ability to walk in all weathers.
