Mechanical project manager

About the Company: Our client is a multi-disciplined Mechanical and Electrical industry leader specialising in Design and Installation, with a solid reputation across multiple sectors including, Retail, High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitals. About the Role: The role of Project Manager is to plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality. The project in consideration is a flagship residential scheme in Canary Wharf, with a GBP10m M+E Package. The Project Manager is expected to maintain the company rsquo;s standard of work in all duties, especially to manage Clients expectations so as to create a professional and positive perception. You will have overall responsibility for the successful project delivery; * Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over * Review of the Scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required. * Better buying of all packages, in line with company policy * Issuing technical submittals of all Equipment / Packages * Issue all programmes pre construction * Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion * Quality control * Sub-Contractor management * Procurement * Commissioning and handover Candidate Requirements: * Must have 5 Years rsquo; experience of managing Mechanical + Electrical Installation projects * HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred * Major project experience would be preferred of GBP5m mechanical package value and above. * You will have a proven track record of successfully carrying out a similar role. * Strong Commercial acumen, with a knowledge of commercial accountability on previous projects * Longevity demonstrated through previous employment About the Benefits/Rewards: Our client supports, develops and understands their employees and offer employee stability through permanent long-term employment and a stable working environment.
