Engineering supervisor

PURPOSE OF ROLE The purpose of this role is to provide Fire and Security maintenance (PPM) to our clients, attend callouts, fault find and complete small work installations. DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Attend site and carry out maintenance, breakdown, commissioning, fault finding and remedial works bull; Complete all paperwork comprehensively in line with BS5839 and company policies Able to draw cause effect chart as a flow bull; Proactively feedback on site issues to the service admin team bull; Supporting Small Works and Project Managers to complete installation works on time bull; Being a team player ndash; assisting your colleagues with heavy workloads to ensure the full team complete their work within the month bull; Ensuring all the services are completed on time and in the month due to customers SLA rsquo;s with zero backlog being carried into the next month bull; Weekly teams calls with your engineering supervisor to provide any relevant feedback from the field and to ensure good wellbeing bull; Ensuring while on-call, your phone is always switched on and you are available bull; Be commercially aware and feedback any potential business development information for follow up by the Small works/Sales team bull; Competently liaising with the client while on site always presenting yourself as an ambassador of Clarkson bull; Attending training courses and manufacturer courses to support your role ESSENTIAL SKILLS bull; FIA Units 1-3 (minimum) bull; knowledge of BS5839 bull; IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook. bull; Previous fire alarm experience bull; Customer focused with a strong service ethos bull; Organisation skills DESIRED EXPERIENCE bull; Fire engineering knowledge bull; Fault finding knowledge PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES bull; Team player bull; You will always be expected to fully support the company rsquo;s vision and values bull; Attention to detail with a lsquo;right first time rsquo; approach. bull; Problem solving approach bull; Positive helpful attitude bull; Organisational skills bull; Approachable
