Robot programmer

A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Robot Programmer. bull; Spend time off site with relevant supplier to support programmes (example new launches) bull; Help manage and develop programs throughout build phases bull; Work with the suppliers on the design and maturation of automated equipment bull; Assist with design reviews of production and help steer design for manufacture bull; Contacts interface with (internal/external) all customers and suppliers at all levels. bull; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills bull; Team player with a high level of personal integrity bull; Assess quality of product against standard bull; Assist with the development of PFMEA rsquo;s, control plans and SOI rsquo;s bull; Generation of TPM bull; Back up and maintenance of programs bull; Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve control issues and/or respond to problems Working from their facility in Warwickshire, the Robot Programmer will have the following: bull; Degree in Mechatronics / Automation / Robotics desirable bull; Minimum of 5 years experience working in Robotics bull; Experience in Nachi robotic programming desirable but any make considered as training will also be given bull; Experience of AIVs advantageous (MIR, Omron) bull; Understanding of off line programming techniques and software bull; Experience with interior plastics trim advantageous bull; ISO9001 / IATF16949 bull; Understanding of Six sigma / Lean methodologies bull; Computer literate with MS Project bull; Auto CAD advantageous If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.
