Position: Mechanical Design Engineer * Location: Lancashire * Type: Permanent * Start Date: ASAP Remuneration Benefits: * Salary: GBP37,000-GBP42,000 + benefits * Holidays: 33 days, including 8 statutory holidays. * Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible start/finish). Primary Responsibilities: Your role as a Mechanical Design Engineer is transforming conceptual equipment designs into reality, creating 3D models and drawings. You will be highly involved in the manufacturing and testing stages. Day-to-Day Activities: * Develop drawings and designs using Autodesk Inventor. * Build pump and equipment specifications, primarily based around API 610. * Generate equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs). * Work closely with customers to refine designs and solutions. * Oversee projects in the pump test bed and engineering shop, ensuring seamless delivery. * End-to-end project management of individual engineered solutions. * Work exclusively with key customer accounts, participating in regular communication.
