Quantity Surveyor Facade Consultancy - Romsey, Hampshire Salary up to GBP65,000 + Car Allowance GBP5000 + Pension + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday Blaymires Recruitment is representing the UK #39;s leading fire safety and facade consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for a Quantity Surveyor. The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage cladding upgrades and remedial works to existing buildings. The Role of the Quantity Surveyor The Quantity surveyor will be responsible for cost control, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting on projects. The Quantity surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure that the budget is maintained and appropriate financial plans are in place for each project. Working with project teams on Building Safety Regulator (BSR) requirements. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor from a Consultancy or Main Contracting background. Qualifications * Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills * Cost Planning skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently as well as within a team. * A Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred but not essential. * Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, etc.) is a bonus.
