Role: * As Injection Moulding Setter you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of mould shop equipment and the production of moulded components to the required standard. * The role of an Injection Moulding Setter is to fulfil all aspects of machinery tool changes, from hanging the tool and securing the tool in the machine through to the use of programming software and setting up the robots to provide the optimum cycle time. * Sorting and/or re-working of mouldings as directed by the Shift Team Leader * Ensuring that all validated processes are running within the defined scope of the process parameters * Reporting all machine and equipment faults to an appropriate person e.g. Shift Team Leader, Manager, Setter, Process Engineer, Maintenance Engineer * Setting process parameters to pre-defined conditions ensuring adherence to designated output criteria * Completing lsquo;In Process Checks rsquo; (IPC) to ensure all mouldings meet the required standards * Ensuring housekeeping and cleanliness standards are met at all times * Completing in full all compliance documentation in line with company Standard Operating Procedures Experience: * Previous experience within an injection moulding manufacturing environment is essential * Industry recognised injection moulding training qualifications * Ability to complete detailed documentation in line with GMP * Effective team worker * Flexible attitude in carrying out different tasks * Self-motivated * Good communication skills * Excellent attention to detail * Able to work to own initiative Key Words: ldquo;Injection Moulding Setter rdquo;, ldquo;Injection Moulding Technician rdquo;, ldquo;Mould Process Technician rdquo;, ldquo;Mould Technician rdquo;, ldquo;Mould Process Engineer rdquo;, ldquo;Mouldshop Supervisor rdquo;, ldquo;Setter rdquo;, ldquo;Plastics rdquo;, ldquo;Injection Moulding rdquo;, ldquo;Process Engineer rdquo; Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
