Independent Reviewing Officer- up to GBP56/hr on going contract NonStop Care is currently working with a well established authority in West Yorkshire, who are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their service in their safeguarding and Reviewing Team . The authority works collaboratively with children and families ensuring the best outcomes for children and a rewarding work environment for you! You will have the comfort of joining an authority with experienced staff/ management working alongside you. Benefits: Ongoing Contract Asap start/ interview Long standing Management team, all of whom are perm and have been in the LA for at least 3 years Competitive hourly rate from GBP50/hr Home working flexibility-The team is in the process of introducing New Ways of Working to allow for more flexibility in working away from an office base. On-going, stable contract - 6 months or longerThey have a strong senior leadership team with a clear vision who are driving positive change to ensure that the children of Yorkshire receive a high quality service. Requirements: A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a related field. Experience of all service user groups and with users from ethnic minorities. Experience of residential and family placement services Experience of child protection worK Kniwledge and experience of the systems for children in care and be professionally confident and competent in challenging standards of care and practice Registration with Social Work England Excellent report writing skills/assessment skills Significant IRO experience Enhanced DBS Professional references Telephone interviews will take place as and when strong candidates become available.
