Salary:Competitive Office Region:United Kingdom Office Location:London Division/Department:Secretarial and Legal Administration Working Pattern:Full Time - Perm Role Type:Hybrid ROLE Kennedys is looking for a Legal Administrator to join our London office. The role will include acknowledging new instructions, creating court bundles, identifying key dates/deadlines, liaising with team to complete client deadlines and general office admin duties, in a paperless environment. TEAM The Product liability and Life sciences team deals with complaints and/or legal actions relating to alleged defective products (usually acting for manufacturers/suppliers etc) ranging from pharmaceuticals/medical devices/toys/electrical (white) goods/transport/foodstuffs, inter alia. We advise and assist on diverse aspects, including regulatory issues/product recalls/mass tort and group claims management/insurance coverage, as well as monitoring EMEA counsel dealing with overseas claims. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deal accurately with e-filing of documents- Operate the Firm s quality procedures and information security systems as specified in the current edition of the Quality Procedures Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client s documentation and/or information Undertake electronic file closure and archiving when required and assist with locating closed files when required. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Previous administrative experience Proficient in MS Office packages, knowledge of BigHand or Service Desk Plus Good literacy and numeracy Good typing skills This is a developing role and the job description is not exhaustive and may vary in line with changes in the team s objectives and firm policy.
