Junior it support engineer

We now have a vacancy for an Junior IT Support Engineer who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the IT infrastructure at the Oldham site. Other duties include: · General setting up of equipment and simple tasks such as basic troubleshooting. Collaborate with the current IT personnel along with the IT service provider with the aim of implementing improvements. Setting up of new computers, both digitally physically when required. Repairing of corrupt/full-capacity computers by clearing re-installing our company install of Windows. Aiding the team with any questions that may arise. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage and negotiate. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines. Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure. Technical mindset with a background in IT. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GCSE’s Grades 5 to 9 (C+ to A+) / A-level in both Maths and English. Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel. Ability to add value, reduce costs and advice on business improvements.
