Field based it service technician

IT Service Technician Our client is a global leader in the IT / Technology sector and they are looking for an IT Service Technician to provide technical to support to their clients. This is a field-based role, so a driving licence is an essential requirement. Our client offers a salary of £28,000 and a company car. Your key role will be to: · Provide post-sales/implementation technical support services to customers including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance. · Responding to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions. · Advising customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. · Installing, maintaining and diagnosis of machine faults as per Company Guidelines and SLA’s · Escalating issues to a Senior Technician / Manager when required. · Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels · Develop and maintain a good rapport with the call centre · Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner · Training customers to be proficient in the use of their equipment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED · 1+ years’ experience with MFPs/ Printers taking apart to component level · Good written and excellent verbal communication skills across all levels · Strong customer service skills · Effective workload scheduling and prioritising · Full and Valid Driving Licence · Full Colour Vision · Proven Electro Mechanical Skills · Ability to support department with networking of machines to client systems · Good time management and organising skills · Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) Thank you for taking the time to apply to OPR Resourcing Specialists.
