Junior it support engineer

Overview Complete Talent Services are currently recruiting for a Junior IT Support Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Manchester area. This position will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the IT infrastructure at the Oldham site. General setting up of equipment and simple tasks such as basic troubleshooting. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with the current IT personnel along with the IT service provider with the aim of implementing improvements. Setting up of new computers, both digitally physically when required. Repairing of corrupt/full-capacity computers by clearing re-installing our company install of Windows. Aiding the team with any questions that may arise. Qualifications and Experience GCSE’s Grades 5 to 9 (C+ to A+) / A-level in both Maths and English. Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel. Ability to add value, reduce costs and advice on business improvements. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage and negotiate. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines. Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure. Technical mindset with a background in IT.
