Legal Secretary A legal secretary is urgently required to support my clients Personal Injurydepartment in Manchester. This is a growing department with currently 14 secretarial staff supporting 60 Fee Earners Paralegals Role Overview The pool secretary role will be working within a close pool of secretaries, supporting fee earners with audio typing and the preparation of documents and correspondence. Working as a legal secretary you will also use your excellent interpersonal skills in liaising directly with clients and third parties. The legal secretaries also get involved with diary management and of course filing! Candidate Profile The firm is seeking secretaries who can demonstrate: Demonstrable legal secretarial experience (within personal injury for PA role). Computer literate. Excellent command of English spelling, punctuation and grammar (a short typing test will be required at interview.) Excellent audio typing skills Excellent customer service skills, including professional and friendly telephone manner. Be pro-active and use a high degree of self-management and initiative. Audio typing speed of 65+ words per minute Experience of working with court forms and creating pleadings What’s on offer?
