Job description:
Voneus, a growing Internet Service Provider, is seeking an experienced Site Acquisition/Town Country Planning Manager. The role requires good knowledge of Wireless Networks or mobile Telecommunications infrastructure build, as well as being familiar with Town and Country Planning Legislation and knowledge of the Electronics Communication Code (ECC). This is predominately a home-based role, however, you will be required to work at our Banbury offices. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of the Site Acquisition process on Community Wireless Projects. The role is Banbury/home-based with a car allowance and a salary to £45k. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of: The Landlord and Tenants Act 1985 Town and Country Planning, including submitting planning submissions as required Relevant telecommunications acquisition experience. (Site identification, coordinating site design surveys and kick off visits). Ability to take ownership of a portfolio of sites from site identification, design through to lease completion and handover to build. Is comfortable addressing property owners and company representatives to reach agreements in line with company directives. Able to coordinate with engineers and other personnel to ensure timely task completion Experienced in Licence to occupy negotiation, agreement, license, etc. with property owners. Preparing and ensuring all necessary applications and documentation are complete, including written site description, justification for site, plans and sketches, maps and photos. Knowledge and understanding of the Electronics Communication Code and how this impacts/benefits site acquisition Good understanding of Wireless access/RAN processes and cross-functional dependencies Qualifications: 3+ years of site acquisition/ project management experience in the communications industry. Experience and knowledge of site acquisition processes, licencing etc. Ability to manage multiple site acquisition service requirements. Experience in site acquisition with individuals and companies. Excellent written and oral communication is required. Good computer and IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent negotiations skills A flexible, adaptable approach suited to a fast-paced environment
